Admission

Adimissions for the academic year 2011-2012 are in progress and will end by 30 May 2011. 

Academic year

The School academic year begins in the first week of June. The year is divided into two terms:
I Term: June to September
II Term: October to April 

The academic year ends with the announcement of results of the current academic year and the school closes in the second week of April.   

Working Hours:

For Prep and L.K.G.: 8:55 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a short break

For class I to X: 8:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. with a short break and a lunch break

Fridays (for class I to X): 8:55 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

All the students are required to attend the school assembly at 8:30 a.m. every working day. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the Principal / Vice Principal. Students may have to stay back for special classes or extra-curricular activities beyond the regular class hours. The school will inform parents when the students are expected to follow a routine different from the announced.

Holidays

National holidays, festivals as approved by the state education department.
Vacation of about two weeks in October.
The summer holidays of about seven weeks, from the first week of April.

Examinations and Tests

The students’ progress, assessed by means of tests and examinations, is communicated to the parents regularly. Promotion to the next class depends upon the performance of the student throughout the year. The decision of the Principal / Vice Principal and the teachers is final regarding promotion.
